Do you film and photograph weddings?

The short answer is yes. However, the long answer is that I spend the majority of my weekends filming. I only offer wedding photography for couples comfortable celebrating their wedding without a shot list or structured timeline. I believe the most beautiful memories are captured when they aren’t planned. If raw moments and candid laughter are something you’re looking for, we’d be a great fit!

How long have you been filming?

As of January 2025, I’ve been filming weddings for three and a half years. I filmed my first wedding on June 26, 2021, for the most precious couple who welcomed the sweetest little boy into their family last year (and just announced they’re expecting again). Brooke & Boyd will forever have a special place in my heart. Trusting me to capture their day was something I didn’t (and still don’t) take lightly. If you ever have the opportunity to give someone their first shot, do it. They’ll forever be thankful for you.

What’s your price for wedding films?

My wedding films start at $3,200 for elopement and start at $4,200 for regular films and increase depending on the length of your film, the time I spend filming, and any add-ons you choose. A 30% non-refundable retainer is due in addition to a signed contract to confirm the booking and reserve your date.

Do you use film or a film digitally?

HA! How confusing, I know… my business name is St.Germain Photography & Film. St.Germain Photography & Videography didn’t have the same ring to it. While my work sometimes looks like it’s been shot on actual film (like the old stuff that your brain is picturing), at this current moment (January 2025), I only shoot digital. I have the utmost respect for actual film photographers and videographers because it’s the most beautiful type of art and requires quite the skillset. I hope to dabble in it someday, but I’m sticking to my digital cameras for now!

Do you photograph & film anything?

Haha, this one is tricky. There are only a very few things I have a hard stop on… you will not catch me photographing or filming an amphibian or a reptile, but I'm game as long as it doesn’t crawl or slither! I’ve photographed and filmed everything from construction sites to newborns. Weddings and wedding-related events are my main focus, so I only take on other types of sessions and jobs as I can. However, I encourage you to reach out if you have a vision! I believe that my eye brings a unique perspective to any project!

Do you travel? If so, how far?

Honey. If there’s an opportunity for me to get out of this South Louisiana heat, I’m G O I N G. Train, plane, or boat - I’m there. There’s nothing that I love more than traveling (except my husband, my dogs, and maybe the thrift store if the AC is blasting), BUT you get it. I’m down to clown. Wherever we’re taking pictures or filming is where I want to be. If I’m leaving LA, let’s chat - I’ll work you up a custom proposal.
